Settling In

The semester officially started Thursday and I am really excited about some of my classes! My brain is already being stretched and made to think in new ways. I didn't have to do a whole lot of reading at HPU, so I am pumped to get to read BOOKS this go around. I still can't believe that I am here and going to class. My mom called this afternoon and asked what I was up to. Homework! I never thought I'd be doing that again! I gave my apartment a thorough cleaning last night and it is finally starting to feel like home. I'm hoping some new command strips fix the problem of falling pictures. We'll have to see. My first voice lesson is also tomorrow. It'll be interesting to see how music ties into all of this. Tabitha and I had fun last night eating some kind of Indian rice and watching Veggie Tales. I felt very multi-cultural. There isn't a whole lot of news. Life is still full of surprises and adjustments! PTL!
