That's a DOG!!!!!

I just got home from my first Chinese lesson and I called out to my roommate. The bathroom door was closed so I thought she was in there. Here is what really happened....
"Courtney? Hello? Are you here?"
Silence
(Thinking, there is someone here, why aren't they talking?)
-Shake shake shake. Collar jingles.
"THAT'S A DOG!!!!"
Yes, there was a dog in my bathroom. I cautiously opened the door and this little griffin looking dog runs out. He is from the animal shelter so he acted all shy. I knew my roommate was going to look for a dog, but I didn't know she was actually going to get one!! My next questions: "WHAT IS IT?" He is a funny looking dog. He looks like some kind of Chihuahua miz. Presently he is right next to me on the couch as I type. I have one of my voice songs playing and he perked up and started listening. Now he is chewing on his foot. Fantastic. He is kind of sweet in a weird way. I think we will get along fine. Poor little abused thing!!! Oh wow. I love my life.
