Diet Coke, Baked Cheetos, and Isaiah 53

I am sitting at my computer taking a mental break from Isaiah 53. Today has been interesting for several reasons. Recently I've been learning a lot about God's plan and how he works "behind the scenes" in the everyday events in our lives. This is so comforting to me. Just the reminder that God is not scrambling around trying to come up with my life plan is helping me stay calm lol. I think so often I try to rush God and figure out his plan ahead of time. And even when I am ridiculously busy writing papers and trying to get everything done God is still working. Even when it feels like (and is usually true) that I am not giving Him the attention He deserves or finding time to pray like I should. Praise God! Now, on to that Diet Coke...it is vitally important to have a plentiful supply of Diet Coke (preferably Coke Zero) when writing papers. Baked cheetos are also like manna from heaven in their cheesy deliciousness. Yum yum yum. I think it stinks that I can ramble on a blog like this but can't write squat for my papers. Dad gum. Oh well. Sorry for the ridiculous post guys. Hope you at least get a chuckle out of it.

  1. Since when do you drink diet coke?!?! We should have diet coke dates instead of starbucks dates :) and really, Hil, baked cheetos? You should try the natural ones by Lays that are white cheddar... So much better!
