Let me just point out that every time I blog there is something unusual on my keyboard. Remember the dustbunny? Now there was a dead bug on the Mac's keyboard upstairs in the music lab. At least it was a pretty green bug.
OU Hogan Family Adventure was a huge success! We got back in the car after the game and my Dad said, "Alright guys. We have a lot to thank God for!" Here is why...
1. We caught a tram to the game and my Dad did not have to sit in traffic getting frustrated
2. Cheap tickets!!!! (Even though I thought they were a fraud and told the man so. He was WAY shady. One of those mouth not moving, sweatshirt wearing, nods his head "come over here and get the tickets" kind of shady. I kept thinking that if he took our money and ran I would tackle him and jab my knee into his back to throw him to the ground. Thankfully my cynicism proved to be wrong.)
3. After being down 17-0 OU had an awesome comeback to win 20-23. The game was really good.
4. Special time with family. We all had a BLAST! God is so good!
This past week has been so much fun. I've gotten to know some of my music people a lot better and we've all actually had time to hang out. Right now I'm in the music building and everyone is wiped out from finals. It looks like people are literally dropping like flies. They are sprawled over couches and tables with these dead faces. And I'm not kidding. They are everywhere. Then there's me. Happy and perky because today has been a good day lol. Practicing is going well and studying is too. I took my last theory final and felt good about it. Hermeneutics might make me change my mind in about an hour, but hey, I'm going to be optimistic. And my friend from Canada got a care package with "Instant snow" in it. We're all intrigued by that one. There's going to be a snowstorm in the dorm later!!!
I'm also holding out for Auburn to win the National Championship for the Peitsch's. Just saying!!
Stephanie and I came to the computer lab and killed it for you with a pumpkin :) So you wouldn't freak out when you sat down and saw a live bug.
